Meal prepping is becoming more and more popular with our busy lives and the struggle to eat healthy food. For most people it’s all about convenience, and that’s why so many people end up in a line at a fast food drive through.
I got very heavy into meal prepping a few years back. I was very focused on the food I was putting in my body and was seeing huge differences in my energy throughout the day because I was eating good snacks and meals instead of convenient processed food. Even with owning a seafood business, I wasn’t utilizing seafood in my meal prep during the daytime, so I started trying out new options!
Seafood can seem out of place in regards to meal prep because you typically have to reheat your meal preps. We share with you in the video below one of my favorite salmon salad recipes that is a great option for meal prepping. I found that the salmon salad was versatile and I could use it in sandwiches, wraps, or as topping on a salad.
Another great option is cooking one or two salmon fillets on the weekend so you can make salmon cakes to have throughout the week. There are a lot of nutritious options for meal prepping with seafood.
